Important Qualification Rules
- Candidates must hold the final mark sheet / certificate as on 15.11.2026. Final year / final semester students are not eligible.
- The qualification must be from a University / Institution / Board recognized by the Govt. of India or approved by Govt. regulatory bodies.
- Where CGPA/OGPA/SGPA is awarded, convert it into an equivalent percentage in the application and keep the university's conversion certificate ready.
- For Assistant Manager (Finance), articleship period is not counted as experience. Only regular employment experience counts.
Nationality / Citizenship
A candidate must be (i) a citizen of India, (ii) a subject of Nepal, (iii) a subject of Bhutan, (iv) a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962 to settle permanently, or (v) a person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or East African countries (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia) or Vietnam to settle permanently in India. Qualifying Marks & Cut-off

Exam Centres & Job Locations
The online exam will be held in cities across India. Andhra Pradesh centres: Nellore, Guntur / Vijayawada, Kurnool, Rajahmundry, Visakhapatnam, Tirupati and Kakinada. Other major centres include Delhi/NCR, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Bhopal, Lucknow, Patna, Jaipur and Ahmedabad (see Annexure-I of the notification). CWC may cancel or add centres and may allot a candidate to a different centre.
This is an All India cadre. Selected candidates may be posted anywhere in India (or abroad) at CWC's discretion, including regional offices, warehouses, ICDs, CFSs and other field units, and may need to spend a period at field units during induction. Postings are not guaranteed to any particular place.
Other Important Information
- Service Bond: Assistant Managers must furnish a bond of ₹1,00,000 and Junior Executives a bond of ₹50,000 to serve CWC for a minimum of 2 years at the time of joining.
- Probation: Selected candidates are appointed in the prescribed pay scale and placed on probation as per CWC regulations.
- EWS: 10% of vacancies are reserved for EWS candidates with gross family annual income below ₹8 lakh and without the excluded assets (5 acres of agricultural land, 1000 sq. ft. flat, or plots of 100/200 sq. yards).
- Multiple posts: You can apply for more than one post, but with a separate application and fee for each. If you submit multiple applications for the same post, only the latest valid one is retained and the other fees are forfeited.
- No change of category or details is allowed after submission.
- Banned items at the exam centre: mobile phones, watches, calculators, metallic items, and full-sleeved clothing. Footwear should be open-toe (sandals/chappals).
- Biometrics (left thumb impression) and a photograph are captured on exam day and verified at the interview / document verification stage.
- Scribe / compensatory time: available for eligible PwBD candidates (20 minutes per hour) as per rules and with the prescribed certificates.
- Travel: Outstation candidates called for interview / verification get AC III Tier rail or bus fare reimbursement on proof of travel.
- Ineligible: Persons dismissed or compulsorily retired from Government / PSU service, or convicted of an offence involving moral turpitude, cannot be appointed.

- Study the exam pattern first. The 3-hour paper has sectional timings and negative marking, so avoid blind guessing.
- Practise Reasoning, Computer Aptitude, DI and Quantitative Aptitude every day, since they carry the most marks for Assistant Manager (General) and Junior Executive (General).
- For technical posts, cover the professional syllabus topic by topic, giving special attention to warehousing, storage, fumigation and grain quality.
- Practise English essay and letter writing for the 30-mark Descriptive Test, as its qualifying cut-off is separate.
