🎂 Eligibility – Age Limit
Age as on 01.08.2026: Minimum 20 years, Maximum 30 years (born between 02.08.1996 and 01.08.2006, both dates inclusive).

Note: Maximum age limit is applicable to General and EWS candidates. 🎓 Eligibility – Educational Qualification
- Graduation (Degree) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Government of India, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
- Candidate must possess a valid Mark-sheet/Degree Certificate confirming graduate status on the date of registration itself and must indicate the percentage of marks obtained while registering online.
- Cut-off date for age and qualification eligibility: 01.08.2026 (first day of the month in which registration commences).
- Local Language: Candidates must be proficient in reading, writing and speaking the mandatory local language of the state applied for. Those who haven't studied it in 10th/12th standard must clear a Local Language Proficiency Test (LPT) before the interview.

A candidate must be a Citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling, or a person of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia) or Vietnam with intention to permanently settle in India. Candidates in categories other than (i) must hold a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.

The post is identified suitable for PwBD candidates under categories: Orthopedically Challenged (OC) – OA/OL/OAL/BL including Leprosy Cured, Cerebral Palsy, Dwarfism, Muscular Dystrophy, Acid Attack Victims; Visual Impairment (VI) – Blindness/Low Vision; Hearing Impaired (HI) – Deaf/Hard of Hearing; and Intellectual Disability (ID) – Autism Spectrum Disorder, Specific Learning Disability, Mental Illness. Only benchmark disability (40% or more) qualifies for reservation, and disability certificates are subject to UDID portal verification. Persons with a disability condition marked "likely to improve" (temporary) are not eligible for reservation.
EWS: Candidates not covered under SC/ST/OBC reservation, with family gross annual income below ₹8 lakh, are eligible under Economically Weaker Section, subject to asset limits (agricultural land below 5 acres, residential flat below 1000 sq ft, etc.) and require an Income & Asset Certificate from a competent authority.

📝 Selection Process
Selection comprises Online Examination → Local Language Proficiency Test (LPT, if applicable) → Personal Interview. Final merit is based on combined scores of Online Exam and Interview in an 80:20 weightage ratio.

Scale: Assistant Manager (Scale I) – Basic: 48480-2000/7-62480-2340/2-67160-2680/7-85920
Starting Basic Pay: ₹48,480/- plus DA, HRA, CCA and other allowances as per rules in force.
Advance Increments: Candidates with prior experience as an Officer in Scheduled Commercial Banks, whose job profile matches a Scale-I Generalist Officer role, get one advance increment per completed year of such service, up to a maximum of 2 increments (subject to certified job-profile match). Candidates from subsidiaries of Scheduled Commercial Banks get only 1 increment. Prior experience does not count towards service seniority.
Probation: 2 years of active service. Bond: Selected candidates must execute a Financial Service Indemnity Bond of ₹2,00,000/- for a minimum 3-year service commitment.
