Eligibility - Educational Qualification
A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the Government of India, or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government.
The candidate must possess a valid Mark-sheet/Degree Certificate proving graduate status on or before 21.07.2026, and must indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.
Where CGPA/OGPA is awarded, it must be converted to percentage as per the university's norms, and documentary proof of the conversion criteria must be submitted at the time of interview.
Nationality / Citizenship
A candidate must be either:
- A Citizen of India, or
- A subject of Nepal, or
- A subject of Bhutan, or
- A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
- A person of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and certain African/Vietnam regions with intention of permanent settlement (eligibility certificate from Govt. of India required)

Penalty for Wrong Answers: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer in objective tests. No penalty for unattempted questions.
Personality Test: Non-qualifying self-report test; mandatory for candidates who clear the Main exam and want to appear for the Interview.
Selection Process
- Online Preliminary Examination - Qualifying stage; candidates must clear sectional and overall cut-offs.
- Online Main Examination - Objective + Descriptive Test; marks obtained here are used for shortlisting for Personality Test/Interview and for final merit.
- Personality Test - Non-qualifying, self-report based; profile placed before the interview panel.
- Common Interview - Conducted by Participating Banks, coordinated by the Nodal Bank. Total marks: 100. Minimum qualifying marks: 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD).
- Provisional Allotment - Weightage of Main Exam : Interview = 80:20. Final merit list prepared and candidates allotted to Participating Banks based on merit-cum-preference.

- Click "CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION" and fill in your basic details to generate a Provisional Registration Number and Password.
- Upload photograph, signature, left thumb impression, hand-written declaration, and SSC/SSLC/10th certificate as per specifications (Annexure III).
- Fill in the complete application form carefully using "SAVE AND NEXT" before final submission — no changes allowed after clicking "COMPLETE REGISTRATION".
- Pay the application fee/intimation charges through the online payment gateway.
- Take a printout of the system-generated application form and e-receipt for future reference.

In addition to Basic Pay, selected candidates are eligible for allowances and perquisites as per the rules of the concerned Participating Bank, applicable from time to time.
Examination Centres
Preliminary and Main Examinations will be conducted online across major cities covering all States and Union Territories of India, including Andhra Pradesh centres such as Ananthapur, Chirala, Guntur/Vijaywada, Kadapa, Kakinada, Kurnool, Nellore, Ongole, Rajahmundry, Tirupati, Vishakhapatnam, and Vizianagaram. Refer to the official notification (Annexure II) for the complete state-wise centre list. IBPS reserves the right to cancel or add centres based on response and administrative feasibility.
Important Instructions
- Not more than one application should be submitted; multiple applications will lead to forfeiture of fees for extra registrations.
- 'Name', 'Email ID', 'Mobile Number', 'State/UT', 'Post', and 'Nationality' fields cannot be edited after submission.
- Category change from GEN/EWS/OBC to SC/ST/PwBD is allowed during the Edit Window, but fees already paid will not be refunded.
- Correction fee for Edit Window is Rs.200/- (inclusive of GST), applicable to all categories.
- Any dispute arising from this recruitment shall be subject to the sole jurisdiction of Courts situated at Mumbai.
