CCRUM 2026 Selection Process

  • Group A Posts: Online Computer Based Test (CBT) of 70 marks + Interview of 30 marks.
  • Group B & Group C Posts: Online CBT of 100 marks, followed by Skill Test wherever applicable (no interview).
  • Questions will be bilingual (English & Hindi), except for MTS which has no negative marking.
  • Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer (not applicable for MTS).
  • Minimum Qualifying Marks in CBT: 25% for SC/ST/PwBD; 30% for UR/OBC/EWS/Ex-Servicemen categories.
  • Skill Test (Qualifying): Mandatory for LDC (Typing), Stenographer Grade-III (Shorthand/Transcription), and Staff Car Driver (Driving Test).
  • Interview Ratio (Group A): 1:5 for 1 vacancy, 1:4 for 2 vacancies, 1:3 for 3 or more vacancies, based on CBT rank.
  • CBT Duration: 100 minutes for all posts (130 minutes for PwBD candidates with compensatory time).
  • Test Centres: New Delhi/Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Guwahati (subject to change).

  • Processing fee is applicable to all categories, including SC/ST/PwBD/EWS/Ex-Servicemen/Women who are exempt from the examination fee.
  • Payment accepted only via Net Banking / Debit Card / Credit Card / UPI (SBI Payment Gateway). No cash, postal order, or demand draft accepted.
  • Bank charges plus GST will be levied extra depending on the payment mode.
  • Candidates applying for multiple posts must pay the fee separately for each post.

  2. Step 1 – Registration: Create an account using Name, Father's/Mother's Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, Email ID, and a valid Govt. ID (Voter ID/Passport/PAN/Driving License). Verify via OTP to generate your Reference Number.
  3. Step 2 – Profile Filling: Log in and complete your profile — category, sub-category, basic qualification, upload photo, signature, caste certificate, PwBD certificate, ESM discharge certificate, etc.
  4. Step 3 – Apply for Post: Select the desired post, fill post-specific details, upload required documents, and proceed to payment. This step can be repeated for applying to multiple posts using the same login.
  5. Pay the applicable fee online through Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card/UPI.
  6. Download and save the duly filled application form (PDF) and payment acknowledgement for future reference. Do not send this to CCRUM by post.

Important Points to Remember

  • All posts carry All-India transfer liability — candidates must be willing to serve at any of CCRUM's 24 institutes/centres across India.
  • Candidates must be citizens of India, or subjects of Nepal/Bhutan, or Tibetan refugees (pre-1962), or persons of Indian origin migrated from specified countries with an eligibility certificate.
