AAI 2026 Selection Process
- Stage 1 – Computer Based Test (CBT): Objective type, bilingual (Hindi & English except language test). No negative marking.
- Stage 2 – Application Verification / Subsequent Tests: Shortlisted candidates called based on CBT performance.
- Stage 3 – Interview: Applicable only for Post Codes 1 to 11 (Manager posts).
- Manager (Fire Services) additional tests: Physical Measurement Test, Driving Test, and Physical Endurance Test (Running, Casualty Carrying, Pole Climbing, Rope Climbing, Ladder Climbing & Descending) before interview.
- Light Motor Vehicle License is mandatory for Manager (Operations) and Junior Executive (Operations); valid Permanent LMV License mandatory for Manager (Fire Services) at verification stage.
- Colour blindness / night blindness is a rejection criterion for all posts except Post Codes 3 (Finance) and 12 (Junior Executive Finance).
- Final merit list based on CBT + Interview marks (wherever applicable), subject to qualifying all other tests.
- Selected candidates are liable to be posted anywhere in India.
Scribe & Compensatory Time (PwBD/PwD Candidates)
- Magnifying font facility available for Visually Impaired candidates.
- Scribe and/or compensatory time (20 minutes per hour) permitted for eligible benchmark disability candidates who declare this in the online application.
