Selection Process
The selection process has 3 stages. All tests will be conducted at Bengaluru only.
Stage 1
Physical Endurance Test (PET)

Final fitness check
- Eligible candidates will be shortlisted based on application scrutiny for the Physical Endurance Test.
- Only those who qualify the PET will be called for the Written Test.
- Both PET and Written Test will be held at Bengaluru only. No change of centre is permitted.
- Selected candidates must be found medically fit in the Pre-employment Medical Examination.
- Exam schedule will be communicated via email to the registered email ID of the candidate.
Merely fulfilling the minimum qualification/experience does NOT guarantee a call for PET/Written Test. BEL reserves the right to shortlist candidates.

Attach Self-Attested Documents - Attach all required documents (listed below) as self-attested photocopies along with one recent passport-size colour photograph.

Documents Required (Self-Attested Copies)
- Recent colour passport-size photograph
- SSLC Marks Card and valid proof of Date of Birth
- EWS / OBC (NCL) / SC / ST Certificate in the prescribed BEL format (available at bel-india.in)
- OBC (NCL) Community Certificate issued by Competent Authority on or after 01.06.2025, valid for GoI posts; valid EWS Certificate for the year 2025-26 (Income Certificate will NOT be accepted as OBC-NCL certificate)
- No Objection Certificate (NOC) from present employer (if working in Govt. / Quasi Govt. / PSU)
- Discharge Certificate / Experience Certificate from Indian Armed Forces clearly showing medical category, date of discharge, and service record (Exemplary / Very Good - SHAPE-I / AYE)
- For serving defence personnel yet to be discharged: documentary proof of Medical Category, Character certificate, and probable date of discharge
- Valid Registration Certificate and number from District Sainik Welfare Board
- Bank Account details (for SC/ST TA reimbursement via ECS, if applicable)
- Any other relevant eligibility documents
Key Conditions & Special Notes
Rotational Shifts & Accommodation: Selected candidates will work in rotational shifts and must stay in company-provided accommodation.
Travel Allowance (SC/ST): SC/ST outstation candidates called for Written Test will be reimbursed to-and-fro sleeper class train/bus fare. Reimbursement via ECS at a later date.
Sound Health Required: No relaxation in health standards. All appointments are subject to Pre-employment Medical Examination.
- Candidates must be citizens of India.
- Valid photo identity proof must be produced at the time of PET/Written Test.
- Category change (General/EWS/OBC/SC/ST) after submission of application will not be entertained.
- Any past litigation with an employer must be disclosed in the application.
- Canvassing in any form will result in immediate disqualification.
- All disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Courts at Bengaluru.
