Eligibility Criteria - Educational Qualification & Experience

Educational Qualification (as on 30.04.2026)

MANDATORY
  • Graduate (any discipline) from a Government recognised University or Institution
  • Certification in Forex Operations from IIBF (Certificate dated on or before 30.04.2026)
PREFERRED
  • Certificate for Documentary Credit Specialists (CDCS)
  • Certificate in Trade Finance
  • Certificate in International Banking
  • (All certificates dated on or before 30.04.2026)

Post-Qualification Experience (as on 30.04.2026)

Minimum 2 years of post-essential academic qualification experience in Trade Finance processing in a supervisory / official role in any Scheduled Commercial Bank.
Note: Teaching & Training experience will NOT be counted for eligibility. The experience certificate must specifically mention the candidate's role in the relevant field.

Specific Skills Required

Outstanding communication, presentation, and processing skills are required for this role.

Job Profile & Key Responsibility Areas

Trade Finance Document Scrutiny: Review of all trade finance documents (LCs, Collections, Bank Guarantees) for compliance with Bank/RBI/ICC/FEDAI and other regulatory guidelines.
Processing of Transactions: Accurate processing of Trade Finance and Forex transactions at a centralised location on behalf of all branches within benchmarked TAT.
Reconciliation: Trade Finance and Forex entries reconciliation in CBS, Trade Finance/Forex systems, IDPMS/EDPMS.
Compliance & Reporting: Timely submission of all audit reports, ensuring adherence to regulatory/bank/ICC/FEDAI guidelines, and participation in RCSA/BCOR process reviews.

Selection Process

Step 1: Shortlisting
Bank's shortlisting committee will evaluate qualifications, experience, and suitability. Merely meeting minimum criteria does not guarantee an interview call.
Step 2: Interview
Interview carries 100 marks. Merit list is prepared in descending order of interview scores. Ties are resolved by age (older candidate ranked higher).
Interview call letters will be sent by email only (uploaded on bank's website). No hard copy will be sent. Outstation candidates who clear shortlisting are eligible for airfare reimbursement up to ₹10,000 (economy class, to-and-fro).
