RBI Assistant Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- Minimum 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PwBD)
- Knowledge of word processing on PC
- Proficiency in the language of the state/recruiting office
- For Ex-servicemen: Minimum 15 years of defence service or recognition as ex-serviceman
RBI Assistant Recruitment 2026 Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 20 years
- Maximum Age: 28 years
- Age Relaxation for SC/ST: 5 years
- Age Relaxation for OBC: 3 years
- Age Relaxation for PwBD: 10 years (General/EWS), 13 years (OBC), 15 years (SC/ST)
- Age Relaxation for Ex-servicemen: Extent of service plus 3 years, subject to maximum 50 years
- Age Relaxation for Widow/Divorced Women: Up to 35 years (40 years for SC/ST)

RBI Assistant Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
- Preliminary Examination (Objective, 100 marks, 60 minutes)
- Main Examination (Objective, 200 marks, 135 minutes)
- Language Proficiency Test (LPT) (qualifying in Official/Local Language of the applied state)
- Final selection on the basis of Main Examination marks + qualifying in LPT

- Go to the RBI’s official portal: www.rbi.org.in and click on the “Opportunities@RBI”.
- Look for the notification titled “Recruitment for the Post of Assistant – Panel Year 2025.
- Click on “Online Application Form” and a new page opens.
- Now click on “New Registration” and enter a valid email ID and mobile number.
- Complete the application form carefully with: Personal information (name, DOB, contact details), Educational qualifications and Category details (if applicable).
- Upload scanned copies of: Recent passport-size photograph, Signature, Other required documents as per specifications (size & format details will be given in the form).
- Pay the Application Fee Online using debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.
- Check your entered details before final submission. Click “Submit” to complete the registration.
