Indian Army NCC Special Entry Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
For NCC 'C' Certificate Holders:
Educational Qualification:- Graduate Degree from a recognized University
- Applicants studying in final year are also allowed to apply provided they complete and obtain Graduation Degree before commencement of course (October 2026)
- For final year candidates, the aggregate percentage scored in first two/three years of three/four year degree course respectively will be considered for shortlisting
- Candidates must submit proof of passing Graduation Degree examination along with all marksheets by 01 October 2026 to Directorate General of Recruiting
NCC Service Requirements:
- Should have served for minimum two/three years (as applicable) in Senior Division/Wing of NCC
- Should have obtained minimum of 'B' Grade in 'C' Certificate Exam of NCC
- Applicants who do not hold NCC 'C' Certificate or Provisional NCC 'C' Certificate on date of application are not eligible to apply
- Candidates holding Provisional NCC Certificate must obtain NCC 'C' Certificate before appearing in SSB
- Provisional NCC 'C' Certificate will not be accepted at SSB
For Wards of Battle Casualties of Indian Army Personnel:
Eligibility Criteria:- Wards (unmarried sons and unmarried daughters including legally adopted) of Army Battle casualties specified as:Killed in action
- Died of wound or injuries (Other than self-inflicted)
- Wounded or Injured (Other than self-inflicted)
- Missing, presumed dead
- Same as NCC candidates (Graduate Degree)
- NCC 'C' certificate NOT required for Wards of Battle Casualties

- A citizen of India, OR
- A subject of Nepal, OR
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka and East African countries with the intention of permanently settling in India
