Age limit is calculated as on 01.04.2026. Candidates must be not below 20 years and not above 28 years, i.e. born not earlier than 02.04.1998 and not later than 01.04.2006 (both dates inclusive).

🎓 Eligibility Criteria – Educational Qualification
- Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University, or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government, as on 31.12.2026.
- Candidates in the final year/semester of graduation may also apply provisionally, subject to producing proof of passing on or before 31.12.2026.
- Candidates with an Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) must ensure the IDD passing date is on or before 31.12.2026.
- Matriculate Ex-servicemen with an Indian Army Special Certificate of Education (or equivalent Navy/Air Force certificate) after 15+ years of service are also eligible.
🗣️ Local Language Requirement
Candidates must be proficient (reading, writing, speaking, understanding) in the specified local language of the State/UT applied for. This will be tested via the Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT) after the Main Exam but before joining. Candidates who have studied the local language at 10th or 12th standard level are exempted from this test.
