🎓 Eligibility – Educational Qualification

  • A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the Govt. of India, on or before 21.08.2026.
  • Candidates must indicate percentage of marks obtained in Graduation; CGPA/OGPA must be converted to percentage as per University norms.
  • Local Language: Proficiency (reading, writing, speaking, understanding) in the specified local language of the applied State/UT is mandatory (refer Annexure-III).
  • Computer Literacy: Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations or Computer/IT studied as a subject in High School/College.
  • Ex-Servicemen without the above qualification: Matriculate with Army Special Certificate of Education (or equivalent Navy/Air Force certificate) after 15+ years of service.

🌏 Nationality / Citizenship

A candidate must be a Citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962, or a person of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia) or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India (eligibility certificate required for categories ii–v).

Selection is a two-tier online examination (Preliminary + Main) followed by a qualifying Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT).

Note: Marks obtained in the Online Main Examination only will be considered for final merit listing. Marks are converted out of 100 for provisional allotment.

⚠️ Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer in both Prelims and Mains. No penalty for unattempted questions.

Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT)

Conducted after qualifying the Main Exam/Provisional Allotment, but before joining the bank. Candidates with 10th standard or above marksheet in the opted local language are exempted. It is qualifying in nature — failure disqualifies the candidate from appointment.

  2. Click on "CRP CSA" link, then "CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CRP-Customer Service Associates (CRP-CSA-XVI)".
  3. Click "CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION" and fill basic details to generate Provisional Registration Number & Password.
  4. Upload scanned Photograph, Signature, Left Thumb Impression, Hand-written Declaration, and 10th/SSC/SSLC Certificate as per specifications.
  5. Fill the complete application form carefully using "SAVE AND NEXT" — no edits allowed after clicking "COMPLETE REGISTRATION".
  6. Indicate State/UT preference for provisional allotment (irrevocable once submitted).
  7. Pay the requisite application fee/intimation charges online.
  8. Take a printout of the completed application form and e-receipt for future reference.

💵 Salary / Pay Scale

In addition to Basic Pay, Customer Service Associates are eligible for allowances & perquisites (DA, HRA, transport, medical, etc.) as per the rules of the Participating Bank in force from time to time. Gross emoluments typically range higher based on posting location and applicable allowances.

📍 Examination Centres & Medium

Online examinations will be conducted across major cities in each State/UT (tentative list in Annexure-II). Tests will be conducted in English, Hindi, and the applicable local/regional language of the State/UT applied for (except English Language sections, which are English-only). IBPS reserves the right to reallocate candidates to a different centre within or outside the chosen State/UT.

⚡ Important Instructions

  • Not more than one application per candidate; multiple applications will lead to forfeiture of extra fees.
  • Category, once selected during registration, cannot be changed after the Edit Window closes (except limited combinations shown in the notification).
  • Correction fee for Edit Window: ₹200/- (inclusive of GST), applicable to all categories.
  • Provisional allotment is based on merit-cum-preference and actual vacancies reported — indicative vacancies should not be treated as final.
  • A reserve list of ~30% of vacancies per category may be maintained, valid for one year from the date of provisional allotment.
  • Any dispute is subject to the sole jurisdiction of Courts situated at Mumbai.
  • Candidates are governed by "The Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024" — all offences are cognizable, non-bailable and non-compoundable.
