Vizag Steel Plant Apprentice Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the 2026 batch, applicants must meet the following requirements:Passing Year: Candidates must have passed their respective degrees or diplomas in the years 2023, 2024, or 2025 only.
Mode of Study: Only full-time degrees or diplomas are eligible; those who completed their education via part-time, distance, or online modes will not be considered.
Ineligibility: Individuals who have already undergone apprenticeship training, are currently undergoing it, or are employed elsewhere and registered under the Apprentices Act are not eligible.
Mandatory Registration: It is compulsory for all candidates to be registered on the MHRD NATS 2.0 Portal.
Qualifications
The specific educational requirements are as follows:GAT (Engineering): A degree in Engineering or Technology from a statutory university or an institution empowered by an Act of Parliament.
GAT (Non-Engineering): A degree in Commerce, Science, Business Administration, or Law from a recognized university.
TAT (Engineering): A diploma in Engineering or Technology awarded by a State Council/Board of Technical Education or a recognized university in relevant disciplines.
Selection Process
The selection for the January 2026 batch will be conducted as follows:Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on the percentage of marks obtained in their respective discipline or branch.
Personal Interview: Shortlisted individuals will be invited for a personal interview.
Communication: Interview schedules and all further communications will be sent via the registered mobile number and email ID provided on the NATS portal.
Verification: During the interview, candidates must produce documentary proof of their date of birth, education, category, and other relevant details.
