SSC LDCE Recruitment 2026 - Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility is primarily based on the length of "Approved Service" in the Grade 'D' Stenographer rank as of the Crucial Date (July 1, 2025):Central Secretariat (CSSS): Minimum 6 years of approved service. There is a specific relaxation for the Direct Recruit (DR) Steno Grade D of Select List Year 2018.
Indian Foreign Service (IFS Branch B): 6 years of approved service. This is 5 years for those holding the post before the 2017 rules.
Armed Forces (AFHQ): 3 years of approved and continuous service.
Railway Board: 6 years of approved service (3 years for those holding posts before current rules).
