Final Selection & Merit List
- Final merit list is prepared based solely on marks obtained in the written examination.
- Merely qualifying or being medically fit does not guarantee selection — the final cut-off depends on vacancies and total candidates.
- Tie-breaking rule: If two candidates score equal marks, the older candidate gets higher merit; if still tied, the candidate with longer service in SSB is preferred.
âš ï¸ Being declared FIT in DME does NOT give any legal right or claim to appointment. Selection is strictly on merit.
