IOCL Apprentices Recruitment 2025 Educational Qualifications
Trade Apprentice (Fitter, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic, Machinist): Matric (10th) with regular full time 2 years ITI in concerned trade from NCVT/SCVT recognized Institute.
Technician Apprentice (Mechanical): 3 years regular full time Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD) from a recognized Institute/University.
Technician Apprentice (Electrical): 3 years regular full time Diploma in Electrical Engineering with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
Technician Apprentice (Instrumentation): 3 years regular full time Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
Technician Apprentice (Civil): 3 years regular full time Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
Technician Apprentice (Electrical & Electronics / Electronics): 3 years regular full time Diploma in Electrical & Electronics / Electronics Engineering with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
Graduate Apprentice: Regular full time Graduate in any discipline (BA/B.Com/B.Sc/BBA or equivalent) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PwBD) from a recognized University.
Trade Apprentice – Data Entry Operator (Fresher): Class 12th (but below Graduate) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PwBD) from a recognized Board.
Trade Apprentice – Data Entry Operator (Skilled Certificate Holders): Class 12th (but below Graduate) with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD) and Skill Certificate of ‘Domestic Data Entry Operator’ issued by an awarding body under NSQF or other authority recognized by Central Government.
Other Conditions: Qualification must be from full time regular course only; part-time/correspondence/distance learning is not eligible. For Graduate & Technician disciplines, qualification must be acquired between 01.04.2022 and 31.12.2025, and for Trade Apprentices (ITI/DEO) between 01.04.2021 and 31.12.2025 as per notification.

Register yourself as Apprentice as per your category:
- Trade Apprentice (ITI/Data Entry Operator): Register at NAPS portal – https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in/
- Technician Apprentice (Diploma): Register at NATS portal – https://nats.education.gov.in/student_register.php
- Graduate Apprentice: Register at NATS portal – https://nats.education.gov.in/student_register.php
Login to respective NAPS/NATS portal using your User ID/Email ID and apply for Apprenticeship openings of IOCL with Establishment ID:

Ensure all personal details, educational details, category, aggregate percentage etc. are correctly updated in the portal profile.
After applying on NAPS/NATS portal, fill and submit the Microsoft Form with choice of 3 locations and required details at the link mentioned in the notification on or before 09.01.2026 (5:00 PM).
Keep scanned copies of all required documents (10th/12th/ITI/Diploma/Graduation certificates, caste/PwBD/EWS certificate, PAN, Aadhaar, photo, signature etc.) ready for uploading/verification.
Mode of Apply: Online only (NAPS/NATS + Microsoft Form). No other mode of application will be accepted.
Job Location: As per IOCL Marketing Division – Eastern Region apprenticeship locations (Allotted as per notification and choice)

IOCL Apprentices Recruitment 2025 Selection Process
- Candidates must register successfully on NAPS/NATS portal and apply against the notification to be considered for selection process
- No Written Test/Interview: There will be no written test or interview for the selection
- Merit-Based Selection: Merit list of all the candidates who have applied against a respective post in the portal and meeting the notified eligibility criteria shall be prepared based on the percentage of marks secured in the essential prescribed qualification for the post
- The shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification
- Candidates will have to complete Pre-engagement medical fitness test for being adjudged suitable for engagement
- Candidates are advised to ensure that they are medically fit as per IndianOil's pre-engagement medical format
- Shortlisted candidates whose documents including Pre-Engagement Medical Fitness Certificate are found in order shall be issued offer of Engagement for Apprenticeship Training
- Opportunities not filled through the initial shortlisting process shall be considered for filling by eligible and qualifying candidates from the panel cum merit list from the same opportunity

- Candidates are advised to register as a Technician/Trade/Graduate Apprentice online in the NAPS/NATS portals under the respective State as per their Trades
- Trade Apprentice (ITI/Data Entry Operator) must register at https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in/
- Technician Apprentice (Diploma) must register at https://nats.education.gov.in/student_register.php
- Graduate Apprentice must register at https://nats.education.gov.in/student_register.php
- Candidates need to LOGIN to the respective NATS/NAPS portal using their User ID/Email ID and APPLY for the apprenticeship Openings with the Establishment ID: NATS - EWBKOC000077, NAPS - E05201900011
- Candidates MUST ensure their profile (Personal Details, Educational Details, Category etc.) along with aggregate percentage are appearing correctly in application
- Candidates have to apply for ANY ONE DISCIPLINE CODE ONLY. Candidates applying for more than one discipline Code will not be considered
- The candidature of the applicant would be provisional and subject to subsequent verification of certificates and testimonials
- Engagement of selected candidates is subject to his/her being declared medically fit as per the requirement of the Corporation
- The decision of the Management will be final and binding on all candidates on all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of the applications
- Applications which are incomplete or not fulfilling the eligibility criteria shall not be considered "Eligible" and treated as "Rejected"
- Upon completion of the apprenticeship period, the Corporation shall have NO obligation to offer employment to such apprentices
